The added value of Caseificio Rosola´s milk lies primarily in the forage we produce: it´s precisely the plant and floral essences characteristic of the Apennine meadows that give the raw material—and thus the final product—its unmistakable, intense, and persistent aromas.
Caseificio Rosola was founded (a few hundred meters from the famous singer´s home) in 1966 as a cooperative agricultural company, founded by farmers living in the hamlet of the same name in the municipality of Zocca (MO). Today, it has eight members, and they continue to pursue the same goals as their fathers and grandfathers.
